Find an EC2 Instance by its IP address across your environments

• This allows a search across all instances for a particular IP address
• Either a public or private IP address can be searched for
• The type (public or private) of the search will be automatically determined by the search

Find EC2 instances that match a pattern for their name

• This will find instances that match a particular ‘Name’ tag
• The name can be searched for in full to find a particular instance
• Alternatively, a search can be performed for all names including e.g. ‘test’

List EC2 instances that match a particular tag pattern

• This lists all EC2 Instances that match a particular tag across all regions and environments
• A tag:value can be provided to find all matches to that pair
• Alternatively just a tag can be provided, this will list all instances with that tag, regardless of value

List all EC2 instances in all environments and regions, or by region(s).

• When run alone, this command provides brief details of all EC2 instances
• When a region is provided, lists all EC2 instances across all accounts in that region
• Multiple regions can be provided to get details from more than one location.
